David DiGilio spills Ben Edwards is Dark Wolf

Recently in an interview with Screen Rant, the showrunner David DiGilio revealed that the second season is all about the character Ben Edwards’ backstory and the title of the show–Dark Wolf actually refers to him. According to DiGilio, the character Ben is so interesting that they couldn't help but make a whole new season focusing on him only.

While recalling the first season, David shared that one of the much discussed topics of Season 1 was the debate about the ending. Ben Edwards is such a complex character, and actor Taylor Kitsch brought so much empathy to that role that when they got to the ending, and the reveal about Ben, and what he would have done in his fate, suddenly viewers were debating on whether he deserved that or not. And this discussion clicked the idea of making a whole season on Ben Edwards.
