The tickets for Sudipta Chakraborty’s Nati Binodini are in high demand

Nati Binodini is coming on stage. Sudipta Chakraborty, who will play Binodini on stage, announced this earlier. The play will be staged on March 8 for the first time. Now, Sudipta shared more details on the play.

Even after 81 years of Binodini Dasi’s death, the theatre queen Binodini is still relevant. Her works are studied and her biopics are produced on stages and the screen. However, Sudipta is going to portray the actress in a completely different form.

The play Binodini Opera is directed by Abanti Chakraborty. Neel Mukhopadhyay, Padmanabha Dasgupta, Biswajit Guha, Bidisha Chakraborty, and other well-known actors will be in the play. Subhadip Guha is the music director and Suchismita Dasgupta is the costume designer. Sudipta shared these details on social media. But that’s not all. She also shared another surprise.

Sudipta said on Facebook that the first show will be staged on March 8 and added that a maximum number of tickets are already sold. She wrote, “As far as I heard, The Rs 500 tickets are all sold. The Rs 300 tickets are almost finished. Some of the Rs 200 tickets are still available, they can be bought from the Akademi counter from March 3.”

But then Sudipta revealed the surprise. She shared the details of the second show. It will be staged on March 26 in Rabindra Sadan. The actress asked those who did not get the first show's ticket to come to the second show, whose tickets will be available seven days before the show.
