Amazon Prime Video has released the trailer of Chris Pratt-starrer film The Tomorrow War. In the clip, we could see his character Dan Forester fight an enemy 30 years after travelling in time.
Dan fights off aliens after humans from 2052 warn him that the fate of humanity lies in his hands. Thus, Dan takes off, with hopes of defeating the yet-unseen danger.
As the trailer moves forward, we come to know that he is not alone in the fight. The message requesting civilians to save the future has reached one and all, via a network that broadcasts soccer matches. Of course, the game was also interrupted as the humans from the future came with a serious warning and sincere request.
Watch it here:
With the mission, Dan is at the risk of losing his family, especially his daughter. Due to that, he is more determined than ever to fight off the danger. Dan gives his nod to work with a brilliant scientist (Yvonne Strahovski) and his estranged father (J.K. Simmons) so he could save the planet from going extinct in 11 months.
The trailer also has a special surprise - a shirtless Chris Pratt. The actor had previously gone shirtless in MCU’s Guardians Of The Galaxy.
The Chris McKay directorial also stars J.K. Simmons, Yvonne Strahovski, Betty Giplin, Sam Richardson and Edwin Hodge in pivotal roles.
The film, originally in English, is slated to release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu dub too, on July 2. It would be available exclusively to Amazon Prime Video users in over 240 countries and territories worldwide.
