'The Trial: Pyaar Kaanoon Dhokha' Twitter review: Netizens love Kajol but NOT the show

The Trial: Pyaar Kaanoon Dhokha marks Kajol's debut web series on OTT. The highly anticipated show is finally out on Disney+ Hotstar, however, it has failed to impress the viewers. Fans seem to love Kajol for the excellent performer she is, but they appear quite unimpressed by Suparn Varma's directorial.

One of the fans took to Twitter and call the latest show a failed attempt. The tweet reads, "Failed attempt to copy the good wife ! @DisneyPlusHS @itsKajolD worst plot and cast ever ! #TheTrial #TheTrialReview (Sic)."

Another one advised the cinephiles to strictly avoid watching the show and mentioned, "#TheTrialReview Bhai, why can’t the creative team folks sit for a few days in the Courts? Seriously—> AVOID (Sic)."

However, a Kajol admirer praised and actress and penned, "Kajol’s never looked sexier than she does in #TheTrial damn (Sic)."

Another fan called the show nothing without Kajol and tweeted, "If I remove Kajol and polished Lord Bobbywood from #TheTrial , there is nothing. So many opportunities missed. Nonetheless, hope there is a next season and it's better. (Sic)."

Meanwhile, a movie fan compared The Trial with the original American show, The Good Wife and shared, "Why couldn't you'll have been original #TheTrial #TheGoodWife @itsKajolD @ajaydevgn (sic)."

The trailer, which was out last month, created a huge buzz among the cinephiles, however, the viewers are majorly disappointed with the outcome.
