The ultimate Friends quiz for those of you who watched the reunion episode on loop

Friends: The Reunion episode has proved to be the most fulfilling watch of this year yet, especially for the loyal fans of the sitcom. The wholesome episode took fans down the memory lane, where they got exclusive glimpses into behind-the-scenes, inside jokes, secrets and recreations of their favourite scenes. From Matt LeBlanc emerging as a superfan of the show himself to Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer revealing that they had a crush on each other, the reunion episode made the wait totally worth it.

Memorable scenes from the show, like Phoebe changing her name to Princess Consuela Bananahammock, Chandler and Monica’s wedding and Rachel’s decision to stay with Ross in the end have made the show all the more lovable.

1. In The One With The Rumor, Aniston’s then husband Brad Pitt makes a special appearance. Contrary to their feelings in real life, Pitt’s character Will Colbert despises Rachel Greene. So much so, that he even started a club specially dedicated to her in highschool with Ross and a Thai exchange student.

2. Joey’s paternal instincts kick in, in The One with The Birth where Carol gives birth to Ben. Joey, however, finds himself striking an unlikely friendship with Lydia, who is in labour too. He keeps her company till she is reeled in for the birth and even buys her a balloon to say goodbye. Lydia is played by actress Leah Remini, who had auditioned to play another character’s role in the show.

3. In The One with The Chicken Pox, Phoebe gets infected and cannot bear her incessant itching. Coincidentally, her sorrow has befallen her just when her old boyfriend was in town. Ryan is a Lieutenant Commander who Phoebe cannot take her hands off everytime she sees her. When he finally comes to visit, he chooses to get infected because he cannot bear to stay away from Phoebe.

4. When Rachel attends Barry and Mindy’s wedding as the Maid of Honour. , her dress happens to have a wardrobe malfunction. This does not help her cause and leads to her becoming a laughing stock at the wedding. The dress in itself, bright pink and fairly unpleasant to look at, has become a memorable prop from the show. In the reunion episode, a famous supermodel walked down the runway wearing the same dress in exactly the right Rachel fashion.

5. The gang, sans Phoebe, flies to London for Ross and Emily’s wedding. When Joey reaches the city, he gets mesmerized by the culture and acts as a typical tourist. At one instance, he buys a Union Jack top hat sold to him by a street vendor. The street vendor is actually an immensely successful British entrepreneur.

6. In The One With Ross’ Wedding: Part 2, Rachel boards a plane to profess her love to Ross on the day of his wedding. On her way, she’s fighting jitters. What makes this worse is the man seated next to her who truly doesn’t care for her story. He even goes on to say that they were evidently on a break. This actor went on to star in his own famous show where his character is inspired by Sherlock Holmes.

7. Carol and Ross’ son Ben is the light of Ross’ life. A lot of the initial seasons focus on Ross’ relationship with Ben. Over the years, the character grows up and in seasons 6-8, Ben is portrayed by an actor that audiences have seen in Disney shows too. In adulthood, the actor has bagged a television series inspired by the famous Archie’s comics.

8. In The One With The Ultimate Fighting Champion, Monica’s story is interrupted by a duo that asks her to accommodate them on the couch in Central Perk. Tomas and Tim create a huge, but hilarious scene, and storm out of the coffee shop. At the time, the two comedians who portrayed Tomas and Tim were the biggest comics in Hollywood.

9. If you’re a true Friends fan, you already know the lyrics to Smelly Cat by heart. Phoebe’s music is what makes her personality so much better. In the reunion episode, Lisa Kudrow’s rendition of Smelly Cat is interrupted by a famous singer who then joins her for the song.

10. When Ross starts dating Elizabeth Stevens, he leaves no stone unturned to impress her father Paul. Eventually, Paul starts dating Rachel and the two even go to his weekend home for a getaway. The actor who played Paul won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in 2000.
