Story:

One partner is ready for marriage and the other isn’t. These lesbians have to explore themselves to know if they are ready for a wedding.

Review:

The Ultimatum is back and this time, it is about queer love. More prominently, it is about lesbians this time.

Vanessa and Xander are the first. They have a cute story and it is about Xander coming out.

Mal and Yoly are the next couple. Their dialogue brings out their true selves and more.

The couples spend a night together, break up, go to other people and within one week, decide who they want to marry, if they want to marry at all. The couple that gets you most curious, Lexi and Rae, explore what has caused trouble in their relationship. Their issue is the idea of ‘perfect.’ Can they work things through? The upcoming episodes will reveal so.

Mildred and Tiff have a hilarious story about how they met. Tiff met the Latina through a hashtag.

Aussie and Sam are so in love they make you feel why the ultimatum. They are the only couple so committed to the process that they are open to everything the experience brings.

Vanessa chooses her first partner, Mal. Lexi and Vanessa take their bond further, hesitantly. Vanessa in fact goes ahead and fixes another date, this time with Lexi's ex Rae. Lexi explores Mal too. Nonetheless, on hearing Vanessa's real thoughts, Lexi is furious. She has no intentions of meeting Vanessa ever again.

Tiff is seen with Sam and they bond instantly. Aussie, on the other hand, pours her heart out to our Latina.

Yoly bonds with Xander. After Lexi fell apart with Vanessa and with Mal being sure about her, they explore about each other more.

Aussie is the first one who is sure about the ultimatum. On the other hand, Lexi is sure about her decision and it's not settling down.

The moment of truth is here and Vanessa is heartbroken. This brings a lot of drama around. Thankfully, Joanna Garcia Swisher, who hosts this season, brings a breath of fresh air every time there is drama.

Xander and Yoly pick each other. Soon after, more drama follows. Vanessa, obviously, is at the centre of it.

Rae and Vanessa choose one another despite everything. That simply amps up the drama.

Mal and Lexi, as expected, pick one another. They are a match from the get-go. Will that last, is what remains to be seen. They face real issues together and prove what love really is.

Aussie and Mildred choose one another. Sam tries to pick Tiff but the latter is still stuck upon his ex. She however goes for Sam anyway. Within a few days, they feel the suffering.

Two weeks later, the differences start between the only couple who swapped their original partners. Nonetheless, they can also sort through their issues.

Xander is a loyal one but she has been put in a spot time-and-again. She defended her once-love one time and is often put on the hotseat for the same. Her reaction to that does not come as a surprise but sure adds to the drama.

Vanessa and Lexi get intense. In fact, it is going to get even more intense. The upcoming episodes promise that.

Verdict:

The couples are interesting but not everyone is as invested in the process. So, if you were looking for drama, you have come to the right place. The Ultimatum has all to offer, at least in the first four episodes.
