The Umbrella Academy has established itself as one of the most popular Netflix originals on the platform after two seasons. The makers of the fan-favourite Netflix show have now released its first official trailer.
The trailer starts off from the setting of where the second season ended, with the Hargreeve siblings ending up in a different world by mistake. Here, the Umbrella Academy never existed, but Sir Reginald Hargreeve made The Sparrow Academy, with a bunch of other miracle kids.
The trailer also gives a better look at the mysterious Sparrows, which includes a human with powers, one of which looks similar to Ben. The two groups of siblings can be seen going head to head but later, realise that they created a time paradox after their most recent time jump and that the fate of the planet could be in danger, once again.
The trailer promises yet another season of great fun and entertainment with all the traits that made the previous two seasons a hit among the fans. From the action, comedy, time travel and Klaus being Klaus, season three seems to have it all.
Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampan, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Justin H. Min, and Colm Feore, will all return for the show’s third season while Justin Cornwell, Britne Oldford, Jake Epstein, Genesis Rodriguez, Cazzie David, Javon ‘Wanna’ Walton will appear as newcomers in the show.
It was earlier revealed that in the third season, Elliot Page’s character, Vanya Hargreeves, will come out as transgender.
The highly-anticipated third season of the show is set to start streaming on Netflix from June 22.
