The streaming giant Netflix has dropped the official trailer of the upcoming film The Unforgivable starring Sandra Bullock. The drama is an adaptation of Sally Wainwright’s 2009 British mini-series Unforgiven.
The Unforgivable also stars Viola Davis, Vincent D'Onofrio, Jon Bernthal, Aisling Franciosi, Rob Morgan, Richard Thomas, Linda Emond and Emma Nelson. The film will release in theatres and later, on the OTT platform.
The trailer shares glimpses of Bullock's character Ruth who is out of prison after serving a term of 20 years. She is seen struggling to cope with her past and move on as the people around her keep reminding her about the murder of a cop. She looks for redemption but re-adjusting to society after a jail term can be a backbreaking task and equally challenging. She is judged for her past while she tries to relocate her estranged younger sister whom she was forced to leave behind.
