Vivek Agnihotri-directed The Vaccine War has been one of the highly anticipated films since it was announced. The makers have finally released the official trailer that shows a glimpse of how India battled during the Covid-19 pandemic . Fans took to social media and shared their reaction to the video and hailed Nana Patekar for his comeback.

One of the Twitter users seemed elated to see Patekar in the trailer and wrote, "Excellent making @vivekagnihotri & after long time we will see @nanagpatekar sir on the big screen. Congratulations all cast & crew #TheVaccineWarTrailer (sic)."

Another one also spoke about the veteran actor and praised one of his dialogues from the film. The post reads, "Best wishes to you! It's going to be a super duper success. Nana Patekar's dialogue "Bharat ki vaccine" makes us fill our hearts with love for our country (Sic)."

A lot of cinephiles loved the trailer video and credited Agnihotri for that. Release date

The medical thriller film stars Nana Patekar, Pallavi Joshi and Raima Sen in pivotal roles along with Anupam Kher in a special cameo as well as Girija Oak, Nivedita Bhattacharya, Sapthami Gowda, Mohan Kapur and Yagya Turlapathi as key characters. The Vaccine War is slated to hit cinemas on September 28 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages.
