What does the director say about The Voyeurs?
The director, Michael Mohan told comicbook.com that he wanted to “not just adhere to intimacy standards”, but also to “set a new bar.” He wanted to create characters who take controversial decisions and are motivated by controversial motives, but also at the same time are etched in such a way that they “ultimately result in viewers having to empathise with potentially unlikeable figures”. The director added that Sweeney has previously starred in a role in HBO’s The White Lotus, which wasn’t to the viewers’ liking but the reactions assert the effect of her performance.
Greg Gilreath and Adam Hendricks have produced the film.
