Sony LIV has finally released the trailer for their highly anticipated historical drama series The Waking of a Nation, which is based on actual events and promises to be an impactful watch. Ram Madhvani created and directed the show, which will premiere exclusively on Sony LIV (OTTplay Premium) on March 7, 2025.
Exploring the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre
The series explores the tensions and causes of the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre, a terrible chapter in India's history that occurred during the country's fight for independence. In The Waking of a Nation, Taaruk Raina's character, Kantilal Sahni, uncovers a colonial and white supremacist conspiracy.
