The Wheel of Time 2: Prime Video announces the release date for the upcoming season with first-look images

The first images from Season 2 of The Wheel of Time are now available on Prime Video. Amazon has set September 1 as the exclusive debut date for Season 2 of their original series. The second season of The Wheel of Time is now available to Prime members. Beginning July 14, you can watch the first season of The Wheel of Time for free on Amazon Freevee.

A simple farm boy named Rand al'Thor (Josha Stradowski, Gran Turismo) learns that he is The Dragon Reborn, a deadly historical figure who will either save the world or destroy it, thanks to Robert Jordan's best-selling fantasy epic The Wheel of Time. An army of powerful sorceresses, determined to shield him from the Dark One, must face his increasing prowess and madness. The End of Days is drawing near as the Wheel of Time spins. Even though Rand believed he had vanquished the Dark One, evil still exists. Season 2 features both brand-new and decades-old dangers pursuing the young friends from the Two Rivers who have spread out all over the world. Since the woman who discovered and led them is now helpless, they must find other means of support. inside themselves or within one another. At any time of day or night.

Madeleine Madden plays Egwene al'Vere; Marcus Rutherford plays Perrin Aybara; Dónal Finn plays Mat Cauthon; and Ceara Coveney plays Elayne Trakand in The Wheel of Time. Rosamund Pike plays Moiraine Damodred.

Producer and showrunner Rafe Judkins adapted The Wheel of Time for the small screen. In addition to Sanaa Hamri, Amanda Kate Shuman, and Larry Mondragon of iwot Productions, Justine Juel Gillmer of Radar Pictures, Mike Weber of Radar Pictures, Darren Lemke of iwot Productions, and Mike Weber and Darren Lemke of iwot Productions are also executive producers. Harriet McDougal, Brandon Sanderson, and Lauren Selig are consulting producers, while Rosamund Pike is also a co-executive producer. Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures Television Studios collaborated to create The Wheel of Time.
