This summer, The Witcher will make its long-awaited comeback on Netflix. The third season will make its debut on the streaming service in two parts, the first of which will consist of five episodes and take place on June 29. On July 27, you'll be able to see the series' last three episodes. A brand new teaser for the series was released on Tuesday, and it provides viewers with their first peek at the forthcoming season while also making the bold claim that everything changes with these episodes.

Henry Cavill stars as the grim Geralt of Rivia, the bane of supernatural beasties, in The Witcher, which was one of the most popular shows on Netflix in 2019. The show tells the story of the intertwined destinies of three individuals in the vast world of The Continent, where humans, elves, witchers, gnomes, and monsters battle to survive and thrive and where good and evil are not easily identified.

Before the second episode was made available on Netflix, the show had already been renewed for a third season. The second season saw Geralt of Rivia attempt to transport Princess Cirilla (Freya Allan) to the most secure location he is familiar with, which is his boyhood home of Kaer Morhen. He was under the impression that Yennefer, played by Anya Chalotra, had been killed during the bloody Battle of Sodden. While the monarchs, elves, humans, and demons of the continent compete for dominance outside the city's walls, Geralt is tasked with protecting the young woman from something even more perilous: the unexplained power she wields on the inside.

Platige Films (Tomek Baginski and Jarek Sawko) and Hivemind Content (Jason Brown and Sean Daniel) are the two companies that are responsible for the executive production of The Witcher. Steve Gaub, Matt O'Toole, Mike Ostrowski, and Javier Grillo-Marxuach are also involved in the production.

A fourth season of this show will come after it, with Liam Hemsworth taking on the character of Geralt of Rivia. The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, an animated origin narrative movie, was released on August 23, 2021. The Witcher: Blood Origin, a prequel miniseries, was released on December 25, 2022.
