The second season of The Witcher aired recently, and die hard fans have already started speculating on what lies in store for the White Wolf next. And it seems they are not the only ones with ideas of what Geralt should do next, as the show’s star Henry Cavill too is brimming with ideas for the same.

Netflix Geeked had invited the show’s stars for an interview recently which featured Cavill along with his co-stars Anya Chalotra, Freya Allan and Joey Batey.

Cavill, who is an avid fan of Andrzej Sapkowski’s book series upon which the show is based, said he wanted the show to delve deeper into new elements from the books. The star mentioned the character of Nenneke, who figures prominently in the novels, and said that he’d wished the show would explore the relationship between the character and Geralt more further.

Cavill also expressed his desire at seeing more of the Witchers as well and added how much he loved the original book series. He added that he wanted the show to remain faithful to the books as much as possible, and limit diversions from the main premise

The actor also relayed his thoughts on how Geralt’s relationship with Yennefer would look like in the upcoming season. While he admitted that the latter’s actions in the climax were ‘extreme’, he also expressed some hope that their relationship could be mended with some nuanced work.

The Witcher has already been renewed for a third season and according to a report in IGN, the script for the upcoming season has already been written. The show can be streamed on Netflix.
