Suraj Venajramoodu and Vinayakan, the talented actors recently teamed up for the Malayalam satirical comedy-drama film, Thekku Vadakku. The movie, directed by Prem Shankar is an adaptation of S Hareesh’s short story, from the collection ‘Adam’. Despite having an excellent star cast and an interesting story, Thekku Vadakku failed to garner the attention of audiences in theaters. The Prem Shankar directorial is now set to make its OTT debut on Manorama Max.

Thekku Vadakku OTT release date
As per the latest updates, Thekku Vadakku is gearing up to have its OTT release on the popular streaming platform Manorama Max, on November 19, 2024. The movie will be available for streaming on the platform from midnight on Tuesday, November 19. As per the reports, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Vinayakan’s satirical comedy-drama film will be available for streaming only in Malayalam. More updates on the same are expected to be out soon.
Thekku Vadakku: Plot, cast, and crew
The Prem Shankar directorial revolves around Madhavan, a retired Government employee named Madhavan, and a rice mill owner named Shankunni, who are constantly fighting over a piece of land. Even though their fight never gets overboard, it becomes a source of entertainment for the villagers. However, the duo’s constant fights take a different turn when it is finally decided that they need to find the rightful owner of the land. Suraj Venajramoodu plays the role of Shankunni in the film, which stars Vinayakan in the role of Madhavan.

Melvin Babu, James Parakkal, Balan Palakkal, Shameer Khan, Kottayam Ramesh, and Merin Jose Pottackal, essay the supporting roles in Thekku Vadakku. The movie is scripted by S Hareesh. Sam CS composed the songs and the original score for the film. Suresh Rajan is the director of photography. Kiran Das handles the editing. Thekku Vadakku is produced by Anjana Philip and VA Shrikumar, under the banner Anjana Talkies and Vars Studios.
