'There's more to it than meets the eye': Raj & DK drop a major hint as they pose with Manoj Bajpayee, Vijay Sethupathi

On April 28, 2022, Amazon Prime Video sent the Internet into meltdown by announcing more than 40 titles to be streamed in the coming months. They started announcing the slate with Raj and DK's upcoming series, Farzi, which marks the OTT series debut of Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi. Both talented actors were present at the event. Moreover, the dynamic duo also announced that Manoj Bajpayee starrer The Family Man has been renewed for a third season.

On Sunday, Raj and DK took to their Twitter page and shared a terrific photo of themselves posing with Bajpayee and Sethupathi from the event. Along with the photo, the filmmaker dropped a major hint about the actors likely to be collaborating in the future. Their caption read, "When MB and VS meet... there’s more to it than meets the eye."

Well, we have to wait and watch to see if Bajpayee is a part of Farzi or Sethupathi, featuring in The Family Man season three. What do you think?

In Farzi, a fast-paced, edgy, one-of-a-kind thriller, an artist (Kapoor) is drawn into the murky high stakes of a con operation, and a fiery task force officer (Sethupathi) is on a quest to rid the country of his threats.

Sethupathi, who is best known for his roles in Tamil films like Super Deluxe, Vikram Vedha, and Master, said he is excited to make his Hindi debut with the show. The actor told the audience at the event that when he was working on this project, he was a little nervous. Shahid on the first day of the shoot, and made Makkal Selvan feel at ease. Sethupathi called it a fantastic adventure.

While Raj expressed his hope that Farzi would be as successful as The Family Man. The filmmaker said that they have stuck with something new in the hopes that it will work. They are fortunate to have such a talented cast.

The streaming date for Farzi is yet to be announced.
