The makers of Shane Nigam's upcoming movie Qurbani have dropped the third song. Shreya Ghoshal has sung the song "Kanmani Nee," which has been penned by Ajeesh Dasan. Afzal Yusuf has composed the music for this film. The song's official music video, which is available on YouTube, shows a mother's love and concern.
This song features Malayali's favourite actress from the 1990s, Kausalya, also known as Nandini, who plays Shane Nigam's mother, and Harisree Ashokan, his father in this movie. A glimpse of Shane and Arsha's school romance is also shown in this song.
Debutant Geo V has directed the film, which also stars Arsha Chandini Baiju, Charuhasan, Harisree Ashokan, Sreejith Ravi, and Joy Mathew in prominent roles. Soubin Shahir is also expected to play a lead role in this film, which is expected to release in 2024.
The other two songs, Mambazha Thottatil and Vaanam Neele, were released earlier. While the former has been sung by Vineeth Sreenivasan, Sruthy Sivadas, Yazin Nizar, and Bhadra Rajin have given vocals to the latter. Kaithapram and Manu Manjith have written these songs.
The film’s teaser, which was released on September 9, suggests Shane will be playing a curious traveller. Maha Subair has produced the movie under the banner of Varnachithra. The exact date of the film's theatrical release hasn't been disclosed by the producers, though. Sunoj Velayudhan helms the camera work, while Johnkutty is the editor of Qurbani.
