The news of Dhanush as the male lead for Thiruchitrambalam was already exciting enough for the versatile actor's fans. But it seems the film director Mithran Jawahar is determined to make the fans not just excited about the film but to also celebrate it. According to the latest news, Thiruchitambalam will see Dhanush collaborating with choreographer Jani again.
Jani or fondly called ‘Jani Master’ and Dhanush collaborated for the first time for Maari 2 song ‘Rowdy Baby’, a fast item number in which the former was paired with Sai Pallavi. The song became a chartbuster hit even before the movie’s release and was compared with the overwhelming success of the song “Why this Kolaveri?”. The song crossed 1.2 billion views on Youtube in 2021, making it one of the most watched Indian music videos. Many fans, actors and choreographers from across the country were seen shaking their legs to the song too.
So the fans are pretty much excited to hear about their favourite star collaborating with Jani. While Maari 2 music direction was done by Yuvan Shankar Raja, prominent musician and frequent music director of Dhanush movies, Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in for Thiruchitrambalam. This coupled with the legacy of “Why this Kolaveri Di?”, following DNA (pop-name for Dhanush and Anirudh tracks) tracks have driven the netizens wild about their expectations for the film.
Thiruchitrambalam is rumoured to be a family entertainer with familiar faces like Prakash Raj, Raashi Khanna, Priya Bhavani Shankar playing prominent roles alongside Dhanush. Dhanush will be cast opposite Nitya Menen in the film. Meanwhile, the actor is fresh off from the success of Netflix release Jagame Thandhiram where he played a gangster from rural Tamil Nadu who migrates to London. He is waiting for the release of his Hollywood movie The Gray Man and is also committed to a movie titled Maaran.
