Karisma Kapoor reacts to the meme featuring herself and David Beckham: ‘This is hilarious’

Just a few days ago, there was a match that was played between India and New Zealand, which became a talking point for many reasons. Besides the stellar performances of the Indian players, it was also the presence of many Indian actors like Rajinikanth, Ranbir Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit and also the legendary footballer David Beckham amongst others. After the match got over, David Beckham attended a couple of parties which was organised by Sonam Kapoor and also Shah Rukh Khan. In one such party, David Beckham had a photo clicked with Karisma Kapoor. No sooner Karisma Kapoor shared the post on social media, which led to the resurfacing of an old meme featuring the actress from her 1999 film Haseena Maan Jaayegi.

The said post was shared by a Twitter user named Anubha (@artbyabhuna). And soon after, it was shared and reshared by many including Karisma Kapoor herself. She took to Instagram Stories and captioned it stating, ‘This is hilarious (with heart and smiley emojis) best days’.

For all those who were wondering what the post was all about, let us tell you that, the said post featured David Beckham on one side and Karisma Kapoor on the other side. The photograph of Karisma Kapoor was taken from her film Haseena Maan Jaayegi, which starred Govinda and Sanjay Dutt. The meme had David Beckham saying, “I play football”. To which, Karisma Kapoor is shown saying, “Big Deal. I have played Basketball with Football on a golf course wearing Tennis gear”. Hearing that, David Beckham: “Karisma Ka Karishma”.

As for Karisma Kapoor’s photograph with David Beckham, after posting it, she captioned it stating, ‘Forever fan. Did it for my kids. So warm and gracious'. As for the attire, while Karisma Kapoor looked stunning in the traditional wear, David Beckham, on the other hand, looked very casual in his all-black dress.
