This is why actress Ridhi Dogra signed up for Lakadbaggha

Actress Ridhi Dogra, who will be seen in the action-thriller Lakadbaggha, opens up about what made her choose the film as her debut, after having a successful career on television and OTT platforms.

In Lakadbaggha, Ridhi playing a police inspector, Akshara D'Souza, who is also the love interest of the protagonist, played by Anshuman Jha.

Ridhi said, "There are three things that made me say yes to Lakadbaggha. I was interested as the story of the film revolves around an animal. The second thing was that I had to learn Krav Maga. Also, I must mention that the team behind the film was genuinely interested in me. It is important for me that the people I am collaborating with should be interested in me and be excited to have me on board. So, all these three things were in place for me. What was plus was that everyone was really invested in every conversation we had."

She further added, "I did not really think too much about the fact that this is going to be my debut Hindi film or anything of that sort. I was interested in the story of the film because it is about animals. I do not put myself in a box even though it is tough for people to understand that. I just felt that this was a good way to spend my time, so eventually, I did the film and enjoyed it."

Lakadbaggha is directed by Victor Banerjee and produced by First Ray Films. It also stars Milind Soman and Paresh Pahuja. The film is all set to release on January 13 in theatres.
