KVN Productions, one of the leading production houses in Karnataka, created quite a splash on social media on Thursday with its birthday wish for Tamil filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj. Lokesh, who is celebrating his 38th birthday today, is likely to collaborate with KVN Productions, or so fans have deduced from the company's birthday wish.

"Birthday wishes to the sensational filmmaker, our dearest @Dir_Lokesh! Keep thrilling us with your path-breaking storytelling!" tweeted the producers.

Lokesh is one of the most exciting talents in the Indian film industry. From making short films to delivering blockbusters with the biggest Indian stars, Lokesh's meteoric rise is the stuff of fairytales. And obviously, there is massive anticipation about his upcoming movies.

Prabhas to join Lokesh Kanagaraj's next?

Speculations are rife that the alleged project with KVN Productions will star Telugu superstar Prabhas in the lead role. However, an official confirmation on the same is awaited.

For long, there have been speculations about Prabhas' interest in collaborating with Lokesh, who has directed blockbusters like Kaithi, Master, Vikram, and Leo.

If the rumours are true, then it would open another can of questions. Whether that means Prabhas has officially joined the ensemble of LCU, which is short for Lokesh Cinematic Universe . Lokesh is crafting a movieverse filled with dynamic spies and ruthless gangsters.

As per reports, Lokesh has planned a series of films, including Kaithi 2 in this franchise. And he's expected to tie up all stories in Vikram 2, led by Kamal Haasan.

Lokesh Kanagaraj's next movies

Lokesh is now busy with the scripting work of his upcoming movie with Superstar Rajinikanth. Tentatively titled Thalaivar 171, the project is bankrolled by Sun Pictures.

Thalaivar 171 is expected to go on the floors this year. After completing this project, Lokesh will resume shooting Kaithi 2 with Karthi.

Lokesh's last movie was Leo, starring Thalapathy Vijay. Released in cinemas last year, the film became one of the biggest-ever earners in the history of Tamil cinema, raking in more than Rs 600 crore in ticket sales.

Looking at Lokesh's flawless box office record so far, one can understand why all leading top stars want to join forces with him.
