Chiranjeevi's much anticipated action entertainer Acharya has at least a couple of months to go before it hits theatres (on February 4,2022) but even the smallest of updates surrounding the film is enough to create excitement among his fan base. After special appearances in Ram Charan's films like Magadheera and Bruce Lee, Chiranjeevi is yet again sharing screen space with his son in Acharya. A teaser about Ram Charan's character in the film, Siddha, will be releasing later this Sunday. We now hear the film's OTT rights have been sold.

The latest update is that Amazon Prime Video has acquired the post-release streaming rights of the big-budget action saga directed by Koratala Siva. The film may have its OTT premiere on the platform either in March or April, a report in the news portal 123Telugu.com suggests. Acharya has more or less completed its shoot and two singles from the film - Laahe Laahe and Neelambari have opened to a terrific response among music lovers. The film has music by ace composer Mani Sharma.

Kajal Aggarwal, Pooja Hegde, Sonu Sood, Tanikella Bharani essay crucial roles in the film produced jointly by Ram Charan and Niranjan Reddy under Matinee Entertainment and Konidela Production Company. Tirru is cranking the camera for Acharya, while it's edited by the national-award winning technician Navin Nooli. A special temple set was erected exclusively for the film in Hyderabad, where the film was extensively shot.

Chiranjeevi has already commenced work on three of his films that are to release after Acharya - including Godfather (remake of Lucifer), Bholaa Shankar (Vedalam remake) and an untitled film with director Bobby. The star has reportedly okayed a film to be directed by Venky Kudumula as well. Director Koratala Siva, after Acharya, will team up with Jr NTR for an actioner.
