Thor: Love and Thunder OTT release date- When and where to watch Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman’s film

The God of thunder is gearing up to grace the silver screen soon. It was announced that Thor: Love and Thunder is gearing up for its OTT premiere in the country.

Thor: Love and Thunder marks the 29th film in the MCU and continues Thor’s story after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Coming out of his depressive episode, the God of thunder embarks upon a journey to find inner peace. But the universe has other plans for him, as a new threat arrives in the form of Gorr the God Butcher. In his quest to rid of the new villain, Thor finds himself crossing paths with his ex-girlfriend, Jane Foster.

Cast and Crew

Chris Hemsworth reprises his role as Thor, while Natalie Portman stars as Jane Foster. Tessa Thompson, Kat Dennings, Stellan Skarsgård, Jaimie Alexander and Taika Waititi reprise their roles from the previous Thor films. The film also features the Guardians of the Galaxy with Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Sean Gunn, Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper, reprising their respective MCU roles. Christian Bale is introduced as the antagonist Gorr the God Butcher and Russell Crowe makes his MCU debut as Zeus. Simon Russell Beale, Jonathan Brugh, Kieron L. Dyer, Stephen Curry, Akosia Sabet , Kuni Hashimoto and Carmen Foon play new characters introduced in the film.

The film was directed by Waititi from a script he wrote with Jennifer Kaytin Robinson. Part of the review of the film on OTTplay reads “The bottom line is that Thor: Love and Thunder kill the excitement, which we filled with expectations, but it's tough to hate the film”.

Thor: Love and Thunder was released in cinemas in India on July 7. The film will be available to stream on Disney+ Hotstar on September 8, in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and English.
