Celebrating its third anniversary, the Tamil drama film Kasada Tabara, directed by Chimbudevan, features a star-studded cast in a hyperlink narrative divided into six segments.

Kasada Tabara, the 2021 Tamil drama hyperlink film, has completed three years since its release. The film is available for streaming on SonyLIV and can be watched on OTTplay Premium as well. Written and directed by filmmaker Chimbudevan, the film is produced by Venkat Prabhu.
Kasada Tabara is a hyperlink film which is divided into six segments and works as an anthology film as well. Actors Premgi, Regina Cassandra, Yugi Sethu, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Sampath Raj, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Sundeep Kishan, Harish Kalyan, Arvind Akash, Vijayalakshmi, Venkat Prabhu, Udhay Mahesh and others appear in important roles in various segments. A variety of technicians worked on the film. Vijay Milton, M. S. Prabhu, Balasubramaniem, S. R. Kathir, R. D. Rajasekhar and Sakthi Saravanan cranked the camera for the segments. The editors who were part of the project include Anthony, Praveen K. L., Vivek Harshan, Mu. Kasi Viswanathan, Raja Mohammad, and Ruben. Yuvan Shankar Raja, Premji Amaren, Sam C. S., Sean Roldan, Santhosh Narayanan and Ghibran scored the music. Kasada Tabara weaves a chain of events that involve different people and how each of their consequences have drastic impact on lives of people they have never met.
Director Chimbudevan’s last film to release is Boat. Based on true events, the film is a period survival thriller headlined by Yogi Babu. It revolves around a group of passengers from different walks of life who get stranded in a boat when the Japanese bomb present-day Chennai during the World War.
The film also starred Madhumitha, Chinni Jayanth, Chaams, Gouri Kishan, MS Bhaskar, and others. Boat opened to negative reviews upon its release. Chimbudevan is yet to announce his next project.
