Throwback to the time when Alia Bhatt reacted to the 'Nepo Kid' tag, Deepika Padukone's reaction to it was unmissable

After the release of Student Of The Year in 2012, Alia Bhatt began her Bollywood career. She is currently one of the leading actresses in the Hindi film industry. Her name has frequently come up in discussions about nepotism ever since her debut. The actress, however, has never shied away from the subject and has always voiced her opinions. An old video of Alia Bhatt about being called a "nepo kid" has just reappeared online.

Alia Bhatt highlighted her frustration at being called a "nepo kid" and receiving continual criticism in the form of snake emojis on her social media posts during an interview with Film Companion. “Nepo, nepo kid, this that and oh my god, ‘she is so this’ and that. I get snakes constantly on my pictures, and am like, ‘What have I done?’,” Alia is heard saying. 

Manoj Bajpayee, who is also one of the leading Bollywood actors, is seen laughing in response to the actress' statement, but Deepika Padukone appears uninterested. Vijay Sethupathi and Ranveer Singh are also seen in the video.

The actress has now returned to work after giving birth, and she just shared a photo of herself on the set of her upcoming movie Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The movie, directed by Karan Johar, also features Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Dharmendra, Ranveer Singh, and Shabana in pivotal parts. On July 28, 2023, the movie will release in movie theatres.
