Pradeep Ranganathan's Dragon and Dhanush directorial NEEK released on February 21 in theatres

Tamil cinema saw the release of two Tamil films; Pradeep Ranganthan-starrer Dragon and Dhanush’s third directorial Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK). While both the film received a fair share of positive responses, Dragon has been seeing a massive commercial success with the film grossing over Rs 50 crore worldwide already. At this time, fans throwback to Pradeep Ranganathan’s request he made years before to Dhanush to watch his short film App(a) Lock which then turned into a blockbuster film called Love Today.
With Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dragon being celebrated all over now, let’s not forget how it was his Love Today which catapulted him to success and fame. The film, which Pradeep Ranganathan starred in, directed and wrote, is an adaptation of his short film App(a) Lock which he made years before when he had not made his debut into the industry.

Well, with Dragon clashing with NEEK and former performing wonders at the box office, fans throwback to a particular old post of Pradeep in which he is requesting Dhanush to watch App(a) Lock. Years later, with NEEK and Dragon clashing on the same day, fans have been rejoicing how Pradeep Ranganathan has not only grown over years, but also won the clash against Dhanush’s film.
Dragon has been faring well at the box office. In worldwide terms, the film has already collected over Rs 50 crores. Written and directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, the film stars Anupama Parameswaran, Kayadu Lohar, Myskin, KS Ravikumar, VJ Siddhu, Harshath Khan, Gautham Menon and others.
The post theatrical streaming rights of Dragon is with Netflix. The film is produced by AGS Entertainment.
