Thunivu actor Ajith takes a break from work, holidays in Glasgow

Social media has been abuzz with pictures of Ajith posing with his fans in Glasgow. The Thunivu actor seems to have taken a break from work before beginning work on his next, which is tentatively being referred to as AK62. The actor is on holiday in Europe along with his family. ​Ajith's wife and former actress​Shalini​ ​recently dropped ​a​picture of Ajith from the airport and the actor looking at the flights. In the meantime, a bunch of fans in Glasgow seemed to have managed to catch up with their matinee idol.​

In a twitter thread, one of the fans named Suriya, narrated the experience of meeting Ajith in Glasgow. He said that the moment his friend informed him that Ajith was at a coffee shop, he rushed to the venue. Ajith was having his evening tea. Ajith invited him inside and offered coffee. He said that Ajith enquired about him as well and voluntarily posed for pictures. The fan revealed that Ajith had taken a break from work.

Meanwhile, confusions galore about who the director of his next, AK62 is, after Vignesh Shivan's ouster. Kalagathalaivan Magizh Thirumeni's name is on top of the list but an official confirmation is awaited. The film will be bankrolled by Lyca and the digital rights have already been bagged by Netflix for a whopping amount.

In the meantime, Ajith's Thunivu just dropped on Netflix and the film has emerged as one of the top ten movies that are being streamed on OTT. The film is streaming in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. The film's producer Boney Kapoor, threw yet another surprise to his fans and revealed that Thunivu BGM will be out tomorrow. The film revolves around a bank heist plan that goes awry after a mysterious person named Dark Devil hijacks the operation. The film stars Ajith, Manju Warrier, Samuthirakani, John Kokken, Veera, GM Sundar, Bagavathi Perumal to name a few.-
