Thunivu second look: Ajith's fiery avatar sets the internet on fire

Ajith fans today were in for a surprise when the makers of his upcoming film Thunivu released the second look from the film. In the poster, we get to see a close-up of the actor, donning stylish sunglasses and sporting his salt and pepper hair in style. The poster went viral the moment it got released.

It was only yesterday that the makers had announced the film's title (which was until then being referred to as AK61) and had also released the first look of Ajith from the film. In the first look, Ajith is seen casually lounging on a chair, holding a gun in his hand. He looks dapper in the poster donning sunglasses and slays his salt and pepper look. The poster had the tagline- No guts, No glory.

The film is directed by H Vinoth and is bankrolled by Boney Kapoor. It was not long ago that fans of the actor had expressed their discontentment over the lack of updates about the film and had trended the hashtag #WakeUpBoneyKapoor. With the release of two looks of Ajith from the film, fans are finally relieved. Ajith has dual looks in Thunivu, which is billed as a heist thriller.

Thunivu has Manju Warrier playing the leading lady and this will mark her second film in Tamil, after her debut with the critically-acclaimed Asuran. The star cast also includes Samuthirakani, John Kokken, Veera to name a few. Music for the film is by Ghibran. Thunivu is said to have some heavy-duty action scenes including bike stunts, something which Ajith is passionate about.

In the meantime, the actor had gone on a bike trip to Europe, followed by another trip to Ladakh with his biker friends. Manju Warrier, too, had joined the actor in Ladakh. The next schedule of the film is all set to kickstart soon with the entire star cast.
