Katrina Kaif is over the moon today! The 40-year-old Bollywood diva’s father-in-law, Sham Kaushal – who is also an action director by profession, has hailed her performance in Tiger 3. This development comes at a time when the movie has earned over Rs 300 crores at the box office globally. Katrina’s husband, actor Vicky Kaushal had appreciated Katrina’s performance in Tiger 3 on numerous public occasions as well.
Katrina Kaif reveals Sham Kaushal's reaction to her fight scenes in Tiger 3
Recently, Katrina spoke candidly with India Today wherein she outlined in detail how her family felt after watching the movie. Notably, Katrina plays the role of a spy agent named Zoya in the film.
“The love and support I have got from my family is just so special. Sham ji, my father-in-law, is a very senior action director, so he was the happiest to hear praises for Zoya’s action scenes. He said, 'You have made me very proud. Everyone is saying you do action so well'. So that was really special for me," Katrina said to the news portal.
Vicky Kaushal’s reaction to Tiger 3
Continuing the conversation further with the news outlet, Katrina expressed how Vicky reacted after watching the movie. “Vicky (Kaushal; Katrina’s husband) also loved the film and he said that Zoya’s character was well presented in the film. It didn’t matter if it was a particular actor, but the way the character had a graph that stayed constant throughout the film, was very interesting... Also, the love and support that came for Tiger 3 made this Diwali much more special.”

About Tiger 3’s box office performance
According to news agency PTI, superstar Salman Khan's action thriller Tiger 3 has earned Rs 300 crore gross at the worldwide box office, the makers said on Friday. The film was created by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF). Starring Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi as well, it was released on November 12 on the occasion of Diwali.
"The film has booked a super strong hold on the weekdays. Having paved the journey of 1 week, the film has now collected 188.25 crore net in India and crossed 300 crore gross worldwide in just 5 days," the makers said in a press note.
