Tiger 3: Mardaani 2 fame Vishal Jethwa to be seen in a ‘critical role’ in the Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif film

Television and film actor Vishal Jethwa found popularity on TV as Akbar in the Sony TV serial Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap. But it was his act as an obnoxious and out-an-out evil antagonist in Rani Mukerji starrer Mardaani 2 that gained him immense popularity. His performance was positively received by the critics.

And now, media reports suggest that Vishal will join the cast of the Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif-starrer biggie Tiger 3. Helmed by Maneesh Sharma, the plot takes the story of former Raw agent Tiger and former ISI agent Zoya ahead.

Vishal Jethwa’s character is still kept under the wraps, but word has it that he will be seen in a role with enough substance for him to shine through. Pinkvilla reports that as per a source, Vishal has a ‘critical role’ in the film that will again bring his acting chops out.

On the other hand, the stars of the film, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are back in Mumbai after their shooting leg in Turkey, Russia and Austria. The remaining leg of the film will be shot in Mumbai. As per Bollywood Hungama, three different sets have been put in place for the mega actioner and Maneesh Sharma has planned a three-month shoot schedule.

On the work front, Salman Khan’s Antim: The Final truth, directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, is gearing up for its release. The film will clash with John-Abraham starrer Satyameva Jayate 2 in what is slated to be a battle of the brawns. Salman will also feature in a special appearance in Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone starrer Pathan, which is directed by Siddharth Anand. There’s also Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, co-starring Pooja Hegde and he will share screen space with Jacqueline Fernandez in Kick 2, after their last outing together in Race 3.
