Tiger 3: Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif shoot a special video to commemorate 10 years of Ek Tha Tiger

Ek Tha Tiger, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, will be celebrating 10 years since its release on August 15. The action thriller, which was helmed by Kabir Khan, began with the introduction of ISI agent Zoya Humaini and R&AW agent Avinash Singh Rathore, also known as Tiger.

Ali Abbas Zafar directed the 2017 follow-up, Tiger Zinda Hai, but Maneesh Sharma is continuing the story with Tiger 3, which is scheduled for release on Eid 2023.

As per reports in Mid Day, the super-popular franchise's creator, YRF Films, is rumoured to be releasing a unique one-minute film to mark the event and remember Tiger and Zoya's journey.

According to sources, Salman believed that Emraan Hashmi, who purportedly portrays an antagonist in the upcoming third instalment, should also be included in the video when he first saw it. He reportedly consulted with producer Aditya Chopra to include a glimpse of the actor in the special video.

Pathaan was previously announced by the company on the day Shah Rukh Khan celebrated 30 years in business. The Tiger 3 team is confident that when this film is released online, it will become popular as well.

Earlier, while talking about directing Tiger 3, Sharma had said in a statement that when he was given control of the film, he had had one goal in mind: to elevate this wildly successful and loved franchise to a level that would become the new standard. The makers wanted the personalities of Tiger and Zoya to shine through with the launch announcement, and he believes that's what's made the news such a hit with fans. Sharma can only assure the fans that the real film will be well worth the wait now that he has whetted their appetite.

People anticipate something incredibly new and fresh with every new instalment of the Tiger franchise. The video's internet popularity is another example of how many things are working in the movie's favour. Initially, fans wanted to see Tiger again since he is the ultimate action superstar. The anticipation increased dramatically in the absence of any formal statement from the producers! Second, it goes without saying that because of her work in the franchise, Katrina as Zoya is one of the most adored female actors.

Tiger 3 is set to hit the big screens in April 2023.
