Salman Khan is one happy man today. And he has every reason to be happy. While on one hand, Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 17 is going great guns. On the other hand, the superstar has just delivered a huge hit in the form of Tiger 3, a film that also stars Katrina Kaif, who plays the film’s leading lady. And, in order to celebrate the success of the film, the film’s makers had organised a media interaction with the superstar.
Here, one has to admit that interviewing Salman Khan is every journalist’s delight and it’s not every day that one gets to interview the actor. In the media interaction, amongst the many questions, there was one particular question which stood out. One media representative asked Salman Khan about how he viewed the three different directors’ (Kabir Khan, Ali Abbas Zafar, and Maneesh Sharma) approach towards the Tiger franchise and whose approach he likes the most. To which, Salman Khan, in all humility said that everyone had given their best towards the film (Tiger series).
He further added that, Tiger 3 was a special film for him. He reasoned it stating that Tiger 3 had the elements of the first and second Tiger films. One (film) was about the journey before Tiger became Tiger and Zoya became Zoya. And, the (second) one being what was Zoya before joining ISI and meeting Tiger and what Tiger was and also about how they (the two of the lead characters) met. He also spoke about the role that destiny played in bringing them (Tiger and Zoya) together in the film. He further added that, as a film, this Tiger (Tiger 3) was one of the best films with regards to the script and the plot.
Besides Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, Tiger 3, also stars Emraan Hashmi in an all-important role. As for the box office collections, it has presently earned Rs. 427 crore (and counting) globally.
