It is the year of the Spy Universe that Yash Raj Films, aka YRF, is building, and it seems like Aditya Chopra’s new formula has struck a chord with the audience. Tiger 3, released recently, might not have garnered excellent reviews from the critics, but the movie has certainly found an audience as it continues to bring in good numbers at the Box Office, both domestically and globally. Now, to celebrate the same, the studio has released the video for their song Ruaan, which is winning hearts.

In their promotional strategy, YRF first released the lyrical version of Ruaan, sung by Arijit Singh and composed by Pritam. The song then created a lot of anticipation, and fans were eagerly waiting to see the video of the same. The romantic ballads from the Tiger Franchise have forever been a highlight point. Remember, Dil Diya Gallan by Atif Aslam and the female version by Neha Bhasin from Tiger Zinda Hai? That’s what we are talking about.

Turns out, now that many have seen the film, the studio has released the video for Ruaan, to attract the ones who haven’t. The video features Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif as they set out on a journey to where they visit a ranch. While there is enough romance, there is also something that is bothering Tiger, and he can be seen looking at Zoya with a worrying gaze. The video also reminisces the old times both the agents have spent together.

Penned by Irshad Kamil, the song is a soothing one and will be on the top of many playlists. Check it out here:

Meanwhile, Tiger 3 is directed by Maneesh Sharma and has been garnering mixed reviews. However, the movie connects the dots between the Tiger franchise, Pathaan, and War. Talking about the crossover to Pinkvilla recently, Katrina Kaif said, “I think everything now has to unfold slowly, so step-by-step, let’s see where now all the different avenues - where the spy universe goes and where Adi (Aditya Chopra) takes it.”

Katrina added, “But I think that’s the wonderful thing about creating all these characters is that each character, you know, whether it Pathaan, whether its Kabir, whether its Tiger, Zoya, they all have got such incredible well-written characters that there's so much you can do with them.”

Tiger 3 is now screening in theatres near you. Read our review of the movie here. Stay tuned to OTTplay for more.
