Ravi Teja's upcoming flick Tiger Nageswara Rao's first-look poster is all set to be out on May 24. With just a week to go for the release of the look, actor Karthi has joined the team. The Ponniyin Selvan 2 actor has given voiceover for the film and will introduce the character Tiger Nageshwara Rao in Tamil. The team, today, dropped a glimpse of the recording session, in which Karthi is seen reciting his lines and also having a conversation with Ravi Teja himself.

It was only recently that Shiva Rajkumar would lend his voiceover for the Kannada version of the film and the team recently thanked the Jailer actor for the same.

The film, directed by Vamsee, is billed as a pan-Indian project and has been made on a massive budget. Tiger Nageswara Rao is said to be a biopic on the notorious thief of the same name. The 55-year-old Ravi Teja will essay the highly infamous real-life burglar Stuartpuram Nageswara Rao. The plot is set in the '70s in the village named Stuartpuram.

Renu Desai will play Hemavathi Lavanam, an Indian social worker, and writer, who fought against untouchability and the imbalance in the social system. Her character is said to be a strong one. The film is bankrolled by Abhishek Agarwal and presented by Tej Narayan Agarwal. Tiger Nageswara Rao is slated to hit screens in September this year.

In the meantime, Karthi is currently busy with Rajumurugan's Japan in which he will be seen in a quirky avatar. Anu Emmanuel plays the leading lady and Telugu actor Sunil plays a crucial role in the character. Music for the film is by GV Prakash Kumar.

Cinematography is by Vijay Milton, editing is by Philom Raj. The film is produced by SR Prabhu's Dream Warrior Pictures, which had earlier backed Karthi’s Saguni, Kashmora, Theeran Adhigaram Ondru, Kaithi and Sultan.
