Tiger Shroff and director Shashank Khaitan to start working on action movie in Portugal?

Tiger Shroff’s movies are always high on action where we get to see the actor perform some hair raising stunts. The actor, who is currently working on Ganapath, looks like will not be taking a rest as the latest reports suggest that he will be headed out to begin working on his next soon. 

As reported by Mid-Day, the actor will be headed to Portugal in August to start filming for a romantic action movie with director Shashank Khaitan. Tiger has previously been to Portugal for the filming of Siddharth Anand’s War co-starring Hrithik Roshan. 

A source close to the development told the publication that the director plans to wrap up the filming of a promotional video he is currently working on and head to Portugal for the movie, which is backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. 

“While Tiger has earlier featured in Karan’s Dharma Production Student of the Year 2 [2019], this movie marks the actor’s first project with Shashank. A number of action and chase sequences, and some romantic songs will be filmed in the three-week schedule. The remaining schedules will be conducted in India and other countries,” said the source. 

The movie is said to have Tiger in a “distinctive” look where he will need to sport a lean and ripped look. A conclusion as to who will partner the actor in the movie is yet to be made, with Shraddha Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor leading the race. 

Tiger was last seen in Heropanti 2, which is a sequel to his debut 2014 movie, Heropanti. The sequel, which was helmed by Ahmed Khan, also features Tara Sutaria and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, with the latter playing the main antagonist.
