Sudheer Babu, who was seen in two films this year - the psychological thriller Hunt and the crime comedy Maama Mascheendra - will be seen in a rustic action avatar in his next - Harom Hara. The film is an action thriller written and directed by Gnanasagar Dwaraka, who earlier helmed the urban rom-com Sehari. Sumanth G Naidu is bankrolling the thriller under Sree Subrahmanyeshwara Cinemas (SSC).
Harom Hara is nearing completion and will release in the first half of 2024. Ahead of its release, the makers are set to kickstart their promotional campaign. The teaser of the film - Power Of Subramanyam - will be out tomorrow i.e. November 27 at 2.30 pm. The thriller will be Sudheer Babu’s first pan-Indian release in five languages - Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
Five of the biggest stars across multiple industries are coming together to launch the teaser tomorrow. While Prabhas will unveil the teaser in Telugu, Vijay Sethupathi will launch it in Tamil. Mammootty, who’s earning high praise for Kaathal - The Core, will do the honours in the Malayalam version while Sudeep has given his nod to share the Kannada teaser virtually. Tiger Shroff will unveil the Hindi teaser.
Malvika Sharma plays the female lead in Harom Hara that also features Akshara Gowda, Jaya Prakash, Sunil, Arjun Gowda, Lakki Lakshman and Ravi Kale in key roles. The intriguing character posters created enough buzz on social media this week. The film unfolds in the late 1980s in Kuppam (of Chittoor district) in which Sudheer Babu is believed to have taken great efforts to get the local slang right.
Chaitan Bharadwaj scores the music for Harom Hara, which has cinematography by Aravind Viswanathan. Raviteja Girijala is the editor. Manisha A Dutt and A Ramanjaneyulu are the production designer and the art director respectively. R Sakthi Saravanan is the action director. Junglee Music has acquired the audio rights.
