Tiger Shroff has yet again made a foray into singing with his upcoming Hindi song Vande Mataram, which is set to be released on August 10, 2021, just a few days before Independence Day. The actor announced the exciting news on his Instagram page, including a motion poster of the single.

The poster shows the actor, dressed in all white, position himself dramatically in front of graphics of the Indian tricolour, while a part of the song plays in the background. He mentions in the caption that the song is in celebration of an independent India and also serves as a tribute to the country. Shroff also says that it is the first time he is attempting to sing a song such as this.

The upcoming single is produced by Jackky Bhagnani under his music label Jjust Music. Bhagnani had also posted a motion poster of Vande Mataram on Instagram, calling it as ‘an emotion’ and lavishing praise on Shroff’s vocals. In addition to the patriotic single, Jjust Music has also delighted viewers with songs such as Prada, Jaaye Be and Jugni 2.0. Bhagnani also has a Tamil language historical drama called Mahavir Karna coming up, which he serves as a producer on.

Composed by Vishal Mishra, the music video for Vande Mataram is directed by Remo D’Souza and Kaushal Kishore is the lyricist. The song also features choreography by Jueli Vaidya, Rahul Shetty and Ankan Sen. This is not Tiger Shroff’s first attempt at showcasing his vocals, as the star has previously sung two songs titled Casanova and Unbelievable, both of which have garnered over 10 million views each on Youtube.
