Anirban Bhattacharya, Kaushik Ganguly starrer “Tiktiki” has been heaping praises from both fans and critics, especially for its story and brilliant performances of the two actors. Directed by Dhrubo Banerjee, the six-episode series is adapted from the play Tiktiki, created by the legendary Soumitra Chatterjee. The series was released on March 18 on Hoichoi.

SVF, which has backed the series, arranged a special screening of Tiktiki. The screening was attended by Churni Ganguly, a prominent actor and National Award-winning director, who is also Kaushik Ganguly’s wife. Actors like Rwitobroto Mukherjee, Ishaa Saha, Alivia Sarkar, Anirban Bhattacharya, Kaushik Ganguly and many others also attended the event.
The makers have released a video of the event where all dignitaries are seen giving their reactions and they all seem to be left spellbound.

Before the screening, Ishaa Saha commented, “We are all so excited to watch these two acting giants sharing, exploiting and toying with our senses. It’s going to be an exciting experience.”

Later, after watching the show, the dignified guests were all elated and went gaga about it. Churni Ganguly said, “After watching Tiktiki, all I can say is it was a truly great experience and both Anirban and Kaushik performed brilliantly.” (Sic.)

Rwitobroto Mukherjee ecstatically stated, “For us who consider themselves as practitioners of the craft, Anirban Bhattacharya and Kaushik Ganguly are like two big guns and what they did with Tiktiki is exceptionally groundbreaking and simply outstanding. And the entire team’s hard work is clearly visible.” (Sic.)

Tiktiki is a duologue that revolves around Soumendra Krishna Deb (Kaushik Ganguly) and Milon (Anirban Bhattacharya). Milon falls into a dangerous trap when Soumendra invites him over and allures Milon to commit a burglary in his palace. After crossing a series of twists and turns both verbally and physically, the duel comes to an end. However, it becomes a deadly game of revenge and murder gradually.

Meanwhile, the show is currently streaming on Hoichoi.
