Tiku Weds Sheru producer Kangana Ranaut wants to work with Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a film

One of the similarities between Kangana Ranaut and Nawazuddin Siddiqui is that both of them came from small towns to Mumbai and made it big in the entertainment business without any godfathers.

While their story of struggle and success is a huge inspiration for many budding talents, it is interesting to note that despite being admirers of each other, they have never worked together, until now.

As Kangana makes her debut as a producer with Tiku Weds Sheru, which stars Nawazuddin, the actress turned producer shared her experience of working with him and her wish of working with Nwazuddin as a co-star.

Kangana said, " I knew Nawazuddin sir as an actor because of the kind of work that he did in the past. I followed his work. But after working with him, I feel like he is a friend. Not like we meet every day and talk about everything, but whenever we meet, I really enjoy his company. He has a great sense of humour he cracks some joke or the other that makes me laugh out loud. In fact, I used to not indulge in conversation with Nawaz sir on days of serious scenes, thinking I might get distracted with laughter. Also, since he is such a fine actor, during the shooting of the film I used to observe him so much and learned a lot from him. In fact, I wish to work with him onscreen. Hopefully very soon!"

Tiku Weds Sheru is the story of a junior artist Sheru who gets married to Tiku, a young girl from Bhopal, and their roller-coaster ride of a life.

The film is directed by Sai Kabir, produced by Kangana under her production company Manikarnika Films, and also stars Avneet Kaur, Vipin Sharma, and Zakir Hussain. It releases on Amazon Prime Video on June 23.
