Tillu Square on OTT - The digital rights of Siddhu Jonnalagadda's crime comedy sold for a record price; details inside

Tillu Square is one of the most anticipated films in Telugu cinema and is all set to hit screens on March 29, 2024. Siddhu Jonnalagadda plays the main lead in this film, which has Anupama Parameswaran as the female lead. OTTplay had revealed that Netflix has bagged the OTT rights to the film for a fancy price.

We have now come to know that the makers sold the rights for a whopping Rs 35 crore, which is the highest in Siddhu's career. Forget Siddhu; it is the highest ever for a tier 2 hero in Telugu cinema. This shows what kind of craze Tillu Square has in film circles.

Tillu Square is the sequel to DJ Tillu, which was a sensational hit at the box office. Siddhu Jonnalagadda became an overnight sensation with this film, along with Neha Sshetty. Surprisingly, she is not part of the sequel and Anupama Parameswaran has taken over the mantle.

Anupama's bold avatar in the trailer has caught the attention of one and all. Sithara Entertainments is producing Tillu Square with star director Trivikram Srinivas on a massive scale. Siddhu Jonnalagadda himself has penned the script and Mallik Ram is the director.

Ramy Miryala composed the music for this film, which is a crime comedy. All eyes are on the character of DJ Tillu, portrayed by Siddhu Jonnalagadda. The young actor breathed fire with his performance in Dj Tillu and everyone is waiting to see what he has in store for us with the sequel.

Sidhhu's chemistry with Anupama Parameswarn is solid and there are so many romantic moments in the film that the audience will love, say the producers. Tillu Square will surely open big and on par with big hero films, which is the talk in the film circles. We need to see how much it will rake in on day one. For now, the OTT rights of the film have shocked one and all in the film circles.
