Tillu Square, directed by Mallik Ram, is the sequel to Siddu’s hit DJ Tillu
Tillu Square, the sequel to Vimal Krishna’s successful crime comedy DJ Tillu, is nearing completion, while gearing up for a February 9, 2024 release. Mallik Ram will be helming the second instalment of the film which features Anupama Parameswaran as the female lead. After the launch of the first single Ticket Eh Konakunda, the makers unveiled the promo of the second song - Radhika.
Ram Miriyala is the co-composer of the album (alongside Achu Rajamani) and also the singer of both the numbers launched to date. Radhika, the second song, is named after Anupama Parameswaran’s character in the film (the female lead - Neha Sshetty - in DJ Tillu too had the same name). Kasarla Shyam is the lyricist. The lively, enthusiastic number, even in its 30-second glimpse, wins your attention.
‘Ringula juttu chusi padipoyane..nee..kongulo maatalini padipoyane..rangula kongu thaaki padipoyane..nee gaali thakithene sachipoyane..’ the song goes on, as the makers say ‘Radhika - Not just a name’ The full version of the song will be out at 4.05 pm on November 27. The song provides Siddu the right platform to flaunt his dance moves while Anupama looks as ravishing as ever.
Tillu Square is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments in collaboration with Fortune Four Cinemas. Sai Prakash Ummadisingu cranks the camera for the film while Navin Nooli is the editor. AS Prakash is the art director. Srikara Studios is presenting the film while Aditya Music has acquired the audio rights.
The film underwent multiple release date changes through the year and the producer clarified that he will release it only if he’s fully satisfied with the end-product. Siddu, meanwhile, also signed two other films to be directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar and Neeraja Kona. Anupama Parameswaran will also be seen in a key role in director Satish Kasetty’s Mareechika, alongside Regina Cassandra, Viraj Ashwin.
