Tips Industries, a top music company in the country, is making rapid strides in the South Indian market now. They have acquired the music rights of two of the most anticipated Telugu films, Hari Hara Veera Mallu and Shaakuntalam, both being period dramas. While Hari Hara Veera Mallu starring Pawan Kalyan, Nidhhi Agerwal (directed by Krish) has music by MM Keeravaani, Shaakuntalam (directed by Gunasekhar) is headlined by Samantha, whose music score is composed by Mani Sharma.

While Shaakuntalam is expected to release in early 2022, Hari Hara Veera Mallu's release date hasn't been announced yet. Hari Hara Veera Mallu, set to release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi languages, is a story based on the life of legendary outlaw Veera Mallu from the Mughal era and also features Arjun Rampal in a crucial role. Shaakuntalam, based on a popular play written by Kalidasa, is produced by Neelima Guna and Dil Raju and also has Dev Mohan, Mohan Babu, Sachin Khedekar, Gautami, Aditi Balan and Ananya Nagalla in its lineup.

Expressing happiness about their acquisitions, Kumar Taurani and Girish Taurani add, “ We are delighted to acquire music rights of much anticipated films like Shaakuntalam and Hari Hara Veera Mallu. We have also bought the music rights to films like DTS (Date to Sleep), produced by composer Sai Karthick, Mani Shankar, Lamp, Raa Raa Penimiti, My Name is Sruthi, Dhagad Sambha, You are my Hero and Paramapada Sopanam. We hope to entertain audiences with our classy music albums across multiple languages."
