Tiranga song from Yodha to be out tomorrow – Get ready to witness Sidharth Malhotra as a patriotic hero

Get ready for Yodha, an action-packed thriller starring Sidharth Malhotra, Raashi Khanna, Ronit Roy, and Disha Patani. The film, directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, boasts a patriotic theme. Premiering the trailer on a flight in February, Yodha is Dharma Productions' latest offering, in collaboration with Mentor Disciple Films. Anticipation is high for its March 15 release, and the makers have released the title of one of its songs, Tiranga, adding to the excitement.

Tiranga song from Yodha is to be out tomorrow

Dharma Productions announced today that the title of the forthcoming song of Yodha is ‘Tiranga’. While the movie will be released theatrically on Friday, the song will be out tomorrow.

Attaching a short glimpse of the song, the production house wrote on its official X handle, "Tomorrow, dive into the anthem of pride and let the spirit of Tiranga soar high! #Tiranga song out tomorrow! #Yodha in cinemas this Friday!" Hundreds of social media users have viewed the post.

What is the movie going to be about?

The trailer of Yodha starts by showing gripping action sequences featuring Sidharth as a courageous Indian soldier who acts boldly without waiting for instructions. When questioned about his actions, he justifies them by saying that mistakes are inevitable in large-scale operations. Despite his commitment to his country, his loyalty is questioned, and he becomes labeled as a traitor: ‘Desh ka dushman’.

Detailing further, the trailer showcases Sidharth's role as an Indian army officer who attempts to save passengers on an Air India flight, over a span of almost three minutes. Disha Patani appears as an air hostess in the film, while Raashii portrays Sidharth's romantic partner. This is Sidharth's second on-screen portrayal of an Indian army officer, after his acclaimed performance as Captain Vikram Batra in the successful movie Shershaah.

Sharing the film’s trailer publicly, Karan Johar wrote on social media, “Be seated because it’s time for some unabashed action, thrill & adrenaline as our #Yodha takes over! See you at the big screens!”

Yodha was expected to be released in December last year. But because of reasons best known to the makers, the movie is now set to be released on March 15.
