There was also a report in Pinkvilla which stated that, when they got in touch with Ms. Soni (who happens to be a close friend of Roshan Singh Sodhi), who said that, his cell phone had been switched off. The same report stated that, after Gurucharan Singh had flown to Delhi in order to celebrate his father’s birthday, he was scheduled to return to Mumbai on April 22.

The father of Gurucharan Singh had registered an FIR
But the actor just did not come. The father of Gurucharan Singh had registered an FIR under IPC Section 365. The Delhi Police, on the other hand, has filed a kidnapping case following a complaint filed by his father regarding his disappearance.
The latest update about Gurucharan Singh is that he was last seen at Delhi airport and DCP South-West Delhi Rohit Meena has now issued a statement stating that the police is scanning CCTV footage and investigation into the case was going on, as per a report in Hindustan Times.
In a news report shared by NDTV, it was mentioned that the security camera footage had captured the 50-year-old actor crossing a road in the Palam area on Monday night.
While speaking to the news agency ANI, Rohit Meena said that Gurucharan Singh's family had lodged a complaint with them that he had left for Mumbai on 22 April at 8:30 pm, and had been missing since then. He added that they have registered a case and were investigating from multiple angles. He also added that they were looking for footage and technical investigation, and that they have even found many vital clues.
Elaborating a bit, he said that they have registered a case under Section 365 of the IPC and that the initial probe involved following his movement according to CCTVs and analysing corroborative technical evidence. He also stated that he (Gurucharan Singh) was seen going with a backpack.
