Toby is the latest production from the makers of Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana, with Raj B Shetty in the lead, yet again. This time, though, he has not directed, instead, entrusting that responsibility with his trusted associate Basil AL Chalakkal. The film will be in theatres in less than two months on August 25 and Raj is already in promotion mode. While he has been talking about the film at length to the media, in terms of what is in store, he has let precious little out.

There was a title and release date announcement with one poster and, subsequently, earlier, today, another one, which Raj has called a first look, but is, apparently, an avatar of his that appears at an important juncture in the film. This new poster, which has Raj looking fierce and fear-inducing, has got a lot of love from netizens.

Here is a look at what people are saying:

The majority of the comments coming Raj’s way are “Benki Shettre”, “Mass”,

If Prashanth Neel's universe is 'Black' 🖤! Raj B Shetty's universe would be certainly 'Red'

One netizen had an interesting question meanwhile, writing, “Rakshith Shetty's look from #sapthasagaradaacheyello part B looks similar to #Toby !! What if they are from same Universe.”

Toby, produced by Lighter Buddha Films and Agastya Films, also stars Samyukta Hornad, Chaithra J Achar, Deepak Shetty and Gopalkrishna Deshpande, among others.
