Review:
Tokyo Revengers always has something surprising and interesting in the store. It is the same this time. Currently, the show taps in all the right places and the episode works like a charm.
Taka/Mitsuya and Taiju’s story is focused upon this time. It defines what is the huge difference between Tokyo Manji and Black Dragon.
The series turns funny soon upon commencing, which is what makes Tokyo Revengers so damn special. In one moment it is heartwarming and in the very next, that moment turns genuinely funny.
The story revolves around Hakkai and Yuzuha, thanks to Taiju. While the two have very little appearances, that is enough the prove their very sacred bond of brother and sister who grew up taking care of one another from their violent older brother.
Takemichi and Chifuyu have sobered down when it comes to funny this time which is a good thing. They especially make up for it with their brotherhood throughout the show.
Kisaki and Hanma continue being the bad guys. While the first is the brains, the second is all brawl.
Mikey is back and he’s the best as always. He’s just so adorable, even in cameo.
Drakken is back too with his attitude, making it a great entry for him on the show. He still thinks of Tokyo Manji’s greater good and that is quite obvious.
Verdict:
If you haven’t started watching Tokyo Revengers, do so already. This episode is just one of the best things to happen to the anime.
