Story:

Takemichi continues fighting for Hakkai. He takes up a beating even when there is no winning. Will it stop? What will it take for the situation to get better?

Review:

Tokyo Revengers season 2 episode 8 begins from the cliffhanger moment from the last episode. You absolutely did not see that one but this is no surprise.

Takemichi wins your heart once again, while Hakkai and Taiju stay their same selves. Of course, Takemichi is himself too and that is what makes this episode better.

The episode does become a drag and extremely emotional but it leads to something and so, you can let that go. Taiju and Yuzuha are their own selves which makes things worse but a character change is impressive.

There’s a lot of back-and-forth between emotion and action in this episode and it doesn’t always work. You can barely connect to either this time around. That is till the moment Mikey enters the scene. Like always, he makes just everything better. However, he has a huge surprise up his sleeve.

With that, yet another episode of Tokyo Revengers season 2 ends with a huge cliffhanger. Knowing Mikey, you sure can expect the situation to go two ways and nobody is expecting it to go the good way so far, which is a new twist.

Verdict:

The same things continue over-and-over with Tokyo Revengers season 2. That is till you come at the end of the episode. That is when your mind runs in all different directions and you start wondering, what next?
