Story:

Mikey joins Takemichi and Toman’s fight with Taiju and Black Dragon. Can he defeat the monster?

Review:

Tokyo Revengers season 2 episode 9 begins with Mikey questioning Takemichi. Mickey’s entry, even is dramatized, is absolutely worth it.

Baji is mentioned again. There’s also a glimpse of him and it’s refreshing for the series.

Taiju fighting Mikey comes as a surprise. It also stirs up many events, as expected.

Seiushu and Hajime’s backstory is explored this time. They are the right-hand men of Taiju. They introduce the monster, who defeats 100 men at once.

Mikey, as always, wins you over. From first scene to the last, he’s the man.

Drakken is a surprise in the series too. His swag is unmatched but is closer to Mikey’s.

Takemichi brings in the emotional moments on the show, like expected of him. Whether he completed his mission though, is the real question.

Taiju, Hakkai and Yuzuha have a moment. It is not your typical family moment but is still beautiful. With that, the episode wraps up magnificently.

Wait for the bonus scene. Takemichi and Mikey reach a place that leaves the former surprised and confused. Keep guessing.

Verdict:

Tokyo Revengers episode 9 wraps things up and quite beautifully. This one deserves your time.
