Tollywood box office: Vishwak Sen's Das Ka Dhamki into profit zone now

The month of March did not have many Telugu biggies coming out as it is the exam season here in the Telugu states. Once the month of April starts, big films start coming out one after the other. Coming to Vishwak Sen's Das Ka Dhamki, the film was released last week with a decent word of mouth.

Das Ka Dhamki was released with solid promotion and the hype showed up in the collections as the film made over 21 crores gross in the first week of its release and became Vishwak Sen's highest openings so far. As Nani's Dasara has come out today, we need to see how the film will hold up in the days to come.

On the other hand, Krishna Vamsi's Rangamarthanda got blazing reviews but the collections are minimal. Vishwak Sen acted, produced and directed Das Ka Dhamki. He has made handsome money as the film has opened to surprising occupancy which even Vishwak did not imagine and even accepted this in all his interviews.

Nani's Dasara has released positive word of mouth and has started with a bang. The day one collections will be massive seeing the trend and in a way, Das Ka Dhamki will surely slow down in the days to come. On the other hand, Vishwak Sen has also signed a new film where he will be seen in a negative role.
