Prime Video has released the official trailer and key art for the much-anticipated third season of Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan. Wendell Pierce and Michael Kelly, who previously played CIA Officer James Greer and former CIA Officer Mike November, respectively, are back in the series, which stars John Krasinski in the title role. Alena Kovac, the president of the Czech Republic, is played by Nina Hoss, and Elizabeth Wright, the head of the CIA's Rome Station, is played by Betty Gabriel. As previously announced, all eight episodes of Season Three will make their international premiere on Prime Video on December 21, 2022.
In the third season of the action-thriller show, Jack Ryan is working as a CIA case officer in Rome when he hears that the Sokol Project, a secret plan to bring back the Soviet Empire that was thought to have been abandoned more than 50 years ago, is about to start up again. Jack sets off on a quest to verify the intelligence, but things quickly go wrong and he is falsely accused of being a part of a wider plot. If Jack wants to have any chance of finding the rebellious element before it's too late, he must flee his own country after being charged with treason and having a Red Notice issued for his arrest. Jack travels throughout Europe while being pursued by both old and new foes in a race against time to prevent a chain reaction of destabilising conflicts from resulting in a worldwide catastrophe.
Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan is produced by Amazon Studios, Paramount Television Studios, and Skydance Television. The series was run by executive producers Andrew Form, Allyson Seeger, John Krasinski, Vaun Wilmott, Brad Fuller, and Michael Bay. Mace Neufeld, Carlton Cuse, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Bill Bost from Skydance Television, as well as Tom Clancy, are the executive producers for the third season.
